Copy-Editing
The UIL Academic season is getting underway, and as such I think it's a perfect time to think about some of the contests as a nice review of the things we've learned or still need to learn about Journalism.
Today we'll be looking at a sample copy-editing test. I have attached a copy of the test on this post, but I will also have physical copies for you in class.
Parts 1 and 2 should be done on the physical copy of the test.
Part 3 can and should be completed on your blog in a post entitled "Copy-Editing Passage Rewrite"
For Part 2 you will need to use copy-editing symbols. Please use this cheat sheet to guide you:

When you are finished we'll review your answers!!!
